Traits of the Servant-Leader: Interview with Pastor Alliene Johnson

August 22, 2014
Servant-Leaders as described in Matthew 23:11 by Jesus seek to serve others without a hidden agenda. The book, "Good to Great," describes a servant leader as a Level 5 Executive, one that is humble and driven.

Today, I discuss the attributes of a servant leader with Pastor Alliene Johnson of Heart of Jesus Ministries in Garden City, Michigan.  Pastor Alliene Johnson and her husband, Apostle Hemp Johnson are compassionate and humble leaders that seek to build up the faith of fellow Christians. Taking Ownership of Your God-given Vision - Angeline Lawrence

July 21, 2014

The Shine and Grind Podcast targets Christian Women in the Marketplace that are getting things done while glorifying God. Our mandate is to do the good works so that others will see the God in us and give him the credit.

Today's episode focuses on the importance of taking ownership of the God-given visions for our business. We all quote the scripture in Habakkuk 2:2, but there are benefits to taking possession of the vision. Peace and hope are direct benefits from taking ownership in the vision.
Whatever God has shown you, take ownership of it and work towards making it a reality. He is with you every step of the way.
